Around Campus

Jeff Springer organizes Coffee and Conversation at Linn-Benton Community College on May 1 on the Albany campus in the courtyard. At Coffee and Conversation they have free coffee on Wednesdays for everyone along with great conversations with people who are a part of the club. Other than coffee, they also have a worship and Bible study that they do every Wednesday in the afternoons.

During Linn-Benton's free pancakes for students event on May 8 in the courtyard on the Albany campus, someone brought their week-old lamb. This was a part of the college's LBCC Gives Hope Day, which raised more than $38,000 to benefit students beyond the classroom.

On May 9, Linn-Bentons baseball team played a double header against the Lane Titans. LBCC lost the first game 4-2; and won game two by a score of 11-9. The game was played on the Dick McClain Field on the Albany campus. The next game is on Saturday, May 11.
